The area around Hong-ik University, better known as “Hongdae-ap” in Korean or just “Hongdae, is a hotspot for young people. Streets and restaurants there are packed with youngsters every last Friday of the month for Club Day. Young fun seekers are seen at fast-food restaurants, Japanese eateries, bars and music clubs.
