Daewoo Electronics manufactured 1 million side-by-side door refrigerators in just five years since it entered the market. Called Daewoo Elec for short, the company rolled out its Klasse refrigerator line in 2003. Klasse is the world’s first refrigerator to have applied the nano silver technology. Since then, Daewoo Elec has led the market trend by introducing vitamin refrigerator and inter-cooler system refrigerator, and home appliances with the black mirror exterior. Here is Daewoo Electronics Director Jeon Yeong-seok to tell us about the efforts the company made in becoming an industry giant just five years after its entry into the side-by-side door refrigerator market.
