World leaders once again confirmed their commitment to trade liberalization at last week’s G20 Financial Summit. Now Korea’s agricultural sector must come out of the government’s protective shadows and look for ways to sharpen its competitiveness in the global market. One company has been doing that for almost 10 years now. Hana Farm, an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has been cutting costs for the past decade, as if it sensed the incoming tide of liberalization.
