Suddenly, another world emerges. The seven or eight meter-wide straight road on the right is packed with crowds walking under dazzling neon lights of shops and stores on both sides of the street. In front of clothing shops, beauty parlors, cafés and fast food joints are also street vendors selling accessories or popular snacks such as ddeokboki (rice cake cooked in red pepper sauce) or odaeng (pressed fish cake).
