We introduce you to ‘MillinetSolar’

On today’s Business Watch, we are going to take a look at a Korean company called ‘MillinetSolar’ which specializes in developing and manufacturing solar cells. Solar energy, which converts light from the sun directly into electricity, is a rapidly-growing field in the global alternative energy industry. The International Space Station already utilizes motive power generated by solar cell modules. More than anything else, solar energy is a source of infinite energy. Currently, it costs around three-won worth of atomic energy and 20-won worth of soft coal to generate one kilowatt of electricity. Although it costs 700-won worth of sunlight to generate the same amount of electricity at present, the unit price is quickly falling as a result of rapidly developing technology.
