Hyundai Rotem, the nation’s high-speed rail developer

Now it’s time to introduce one of Korea’s prominent companies. Today I bring you a story on Hyundai Rotem, developer of the next-generation high-speed train. On November 25th, a special ceremony took place in Changwon, North Gyeongsang Province. It was the first-ever showing of KTX-II, the first next-generation high-speed train developed with purely Korean technology. With the release of KTX-II, Korea became the fourth nation in the world to have the technology to produce a high-speed train with the maximum speed of more than 300 kilometers per hour.
