Jump

jumpjump

There is no doubt that the Korean show Jump is sweeping across the world of performing arts as an icon of the hallyu wave. Telling the comic story of an acrobatic and a less-than-typical family of martial artists, Jump was originally conceived to promote Taekwondo to international audiences. To that end, the performance was choreographed in a way that puts both the flexible and astonishing aspects of martial arts front and center. Jump has a laugh-out-loud storyline that audiences follow through the skillful acrobatic performances of its actors. Sharp-eyed audience members may notice that aspects of martial arts other than Taekwondo are mixed into the performance.
