Kite Flying, a Korean traditional play

In winter season when strong wind blows, boys used to go out side and fly 'Yeon'(kite) over the sky. Not only ancient times but also present times we fly Korean traditional kites. 'Yeon' is a Korean name of kite. As the kite does, it uses wind as the fuel of its flight, too. So, you can often see a father and a son flying Yeon at playground or riversides on windy days.
