National Folk Museum of Korea


The National Folk Museum of Korea is a popular Korean museum that offers a glimpse of everyday life in traditional Korea. Since its opening as the National Museum of Ethnography, in 1945, the National Folk Museum of Korea has exhibited and given lectures on traditional Korean everyday life based on the research it has conducted and the assets it has collected. Attracting some two million visitors annually, the museum showcases over 16,000 cultural relics in three exhibition halls, including the History Hall and Living Halls 1 and 2.
