Unhyeongung, located in the Unni-dong neighborhood, in the Jongno-gu district, is well known as a filming location for ”Princess Hours,“ a popular alternate history drama series that aired in 2006. Written presupposing that Korea is run under a constitutional monarchy, “Princess Hours” tells the story of an ordinary high school girl becoming the crown princess of the nation for political reasons.
