What does KOICA (the Korea International Cooperation Agency) do?


Established in April 1991 under the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) is tasked with managing official development assistance (ODA) efforts aimed at promoting the advancement of developing economies and relations between Korea and these countries. KOICA supports the Millennium Development Goals, the benchmark for development agreed upon by 192 United Nations member states and 23 international organizations.
