The average salary of Korean workers has continued to climb. In 2007 the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development ranked Korea 21st of the 26 surveyed countries in terms of average annual wage. Korea's 2007 annual wage level was USD 25,882, compared with the OECD average of USD 43,973.
