The Yellow Sea FEZ (YESFEZ), is an outpost for China-bound logistics and a center for semiconductors, displays and other IT industries.
YESFEZ is composed of five areas -- Asan, Seosan and Dangjin in Chungcheongnam-do (South Chungcheong Province), and Pyeongtaek and Hwaseong in Gyeonggi-do (province), Pyeongtaek-Dangjin Port is designed to handle much of the cargo volume coming into or out of the Seoul Metropolitan area by sea, while serving as a stronghold for trade with China and Southeast Asian countries.
