Cornell, a big university in a small town, played host to the 18th annual Taekwondo tournament. The effort was led by the Sport Taekwondo Club, an undergraduate organization with little support from the university and almost no recognition. They call themselves the Cornell Fight Team. With 10 hours of practice each week and matching shirts and jackets, they don’t know they are “just” a club and it probably wouldn’t pay to argue.
