A children's choir from Chicago, the United States, is to sing at Korea's demilitarized zone (DMZ) this Friday (Jun 27).
Chicago Children's Choir is to make a trip to the divided zone to hold a performance calling for peace on the Korean Peninsula. Korean folk songs such as “Arirang,” and “Our Wish is Reunification” are also included in their list of performance to be sung in Korean. This was practiced beforehand led by Josephine Lee, the lead conductor of the choir who is Korean-American.
