
For the first time, the genes of indigenous plants of Dokdo Island will be registered at the U.S. National Center for Biotechnology Information.
The Daegu Environment Office announced Tuesday (Mar. 9) that it would register the results of genetic analysis for six types of seven plants from Dokdo in the global gene bank. The plants will include haeguk flower and spindle tree, among others.
