Geochang, a small county located about three and a half hours drive from Seoul in Gyeongsangnam-do (South Gyeongsang province) is a beautiful place to visit during the summer because it is surrounded by scenic mountains such as Mount Deokyu and Mount Jiri. The creeks of Geochang's valleys make for the most ideal location to wile away the summer days, also making the place an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
