First Full Moon of Lunar Calendar Signifies Affluence and Good Luck for Koreans

For Koreans, Jeongwol Daeboreum, or the first full moon of the lunar calendar, is the time they make plans for the New Year in harmony with God and nature.
As many local communities as well as cities prepare various celebration festivals for Jeongwol Daeboreum, which this year falls on Thursday (Feb. 21), it will offer a wonderful chance for visitors to Korea to have a unique experience this week.
