Goseong Dinosaur Festival to Reveal Secrets of Ancient Times in Korea

After millennia-long silence, dinosaurs come to life again to tell their story at Goseong, Korea's county in Gyeongsangnam-do (South Gyeongsang Province), though it may not be like what Michael Crichton, the author of Jurassic Park, would imagine.

For those who look for the traces of dinosaur fossils and the key to solve the riddle of their disappearance, Goseong is a popular area where the archeological dinosaur fossil sites formed in the Cretaceous Period of the Mesozoic Era are scattered around and the traces of fossilized dinosaurs are found in old rocks and enormous footprints still remain.
