A rare lecture on a children’s book, titled “The Legend of Hong Kil Dong: The Robin Hood of Korea,” is set to take place on May 12 (Saturday) at the George Mason Public Library in Annandale, Virginia.
At the lecture, Anne Sibley O’Brien, author of the book, plans to speak about it and the legend of Hong Kil Dong, a hero from the Joseon Dynasty who went on escapades to help the poor.
