Maehwa flowers signal the coming of spring

The Hueree Nature Farm on Jeju-do (Jeju Island) is celebrating the blossoming of maehwa (also known as Chinese plum, Japanese apricot or ume flowers) about a week earlier than expected thanks to the warmer weather this year. The festival, which began in mid-February is to go on till March 5.
