National Museum of the U.S.Marine Corps Showcases In-Depth Korean War Exhibition

November 10, 2006 marks the opening of the National Museum of the Marine Corps (NMMC) in Quantico, Virginia as well as the joint celebration of the Marine Corps 231st birthday. The NMMC is constructed majestically with 210 feet tall steel spires which are designed to resemble the victorious U.S. flagpoles raised at Iwo Jima.
