The Seoul Metropolitan Government has opened two more ‘global village centers,' which are like community centers serving foreigners in Korea.
It announced the opening of one in Ichon-dong, the well-known Japanese neighborhood in Seoul, on July 14 and the other in Itaewon, Hannam-dong where foreign dignitaries work and live. The two centers are especially to serve the needs of Japanese and English-speaking expatriates respectively.
