Two New Nuclear Power Plants to be Installed in ROK


Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy announced Monday that the department accepted Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power Co.’s proposal to build two new nuclear power plants in the Republic of Korea.

The two new nuclear plants will officially be the 23rd and 24th nuclear power plant in the nation. It will be built in Gyeongbuk Province, serving the ROK as the second 1 million kW light water reactors.
