Now it’s time to meet one of Korea’s premier companies. This week I bring you a story about Hyundai Elevator. Since its establishment in 1984, Hyundai Elevator has led the growth of the Korean elevator industry with its steady research and development efforts and high quality products. The company held a ground-breaking ceremony for its elevator test tower, measuring 183 meters. Hyundai Elevators plans to install nine cutting-edge elevators in this world’s tallest elevator tower, including one reaching a speed of 1,080 meters per minute, to test the stability and safety of high-speed elevators.
