Located in the center of the city, Namsan is considered to be the symbol of Seoul. Though you may think it is not high enough to be called a mountain (and is easy to climb), it stands tall in the heart of each and every Korean. From the top, Jongno and Myeong-dong can be seen directly below, key areas of the country’s economy. You can also see Apgujeong and Yeouido, beyond Hangang. During autumn, the hilly road starting at Myeong-dong and Chungmuro and leading to the National Theater of Korea, via the Seoul Animation Center and Drama Center, becomes a popular dating site.
