This was Korea’s first museum to be constructed and operated by the municipal government and not by a school or individual. The exhibitions are staged on the basis of diachrony and synchrony. Displays are designed in the form of a diorama representing scenes with figures to heighten visitor enjoyment and understanding of natural history.
