Seoul Forest is the metropolitan government’s answer to Central Park in New York City. Based on its plan to create a forest in the Ttukseom area, the metropolitan government worked for one year to open the vast (the forest takes up some 1.15 million m² of land), artificially formed forest to the public in June 2005.
