What are some major global events coming up in Korea?

Korea will be hosting the Group of 20 (G-20) summit for economic policy coordination in November 11-12, 2010, following a prior meeting in Canada in June that same year. G-20, which will now largely replace the role of the existing Group of Eight (G-8), has agreed to gather once a year for a routine summit starting in 2011. Korea will be the first non-G-8 country to hold global governance responsibilities since the shift from G-8 to G-20.
