Who is Kim Jong-il?


Kim Jong-il is the leader of North Korea. Officially, his titles are Chairman of the National Defense Commission, Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army, and General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea. He is the son of North Korea's first leader Kim Il Sung, North Korea's first president. As of September 2009, he is thought to be 68 years old, although there is some disagreement about his age.
