This picturesque combination of an open grassy field, ponds and trails serve as the perfect getaway from the busy day-to-day pressures. Since the Korean War, a U.S. military command post and golf course Were here, until it was opened to the public as a park in 1992. About two thirds of the park (originally 297,000m²) now belongs to the nearby National Museum of Korea, which moved here in 2005.
