Dolsando Island

Ever since Dolsandaegyo Bridge, a 450 meter-long cable-stayed girder bridge, was built in December of 1984, Dolsando Island was connected to the mainland. If you view Dolsan Park from the hill at the entrance to Dolsando Island, you can observe the scenic vista of Dolsandaegyo Bridge, Yeosu-si and the attractive blue sea between the island and the mainland. A replica of the iron-covered turtle warship created by the Great Admiral Yi Sunsin during the Japanese Invasion called Imjinwaeran in the Yi Dynasty looks very impressive, too. Taking a tour of the sea by tourist boat at the port under Dolsandaegyo Bridge is also very interesting.
