
A total of 605 overseas Koreans and foreign students/ graduates will serve as English teachers in elementary schools located in provincial areas of Korea starting from early March.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology announced early February that 605 English teachers enlisted in the TaLK (Teach and Learn in Korea) Program will begin work on Mar. 2. The program is part of the education ministry's efforts to provide equally sound English education in rural regions and nurture global talents.
