Ambassador Lee’s Diplomacy Moves Old Soldiers’ Hearts



Since he assumed his post as the top diplomat of the Republic of Korea to the United States, Ambassador Lee Tae-sik had been called many names, but no one can accuse him of being ‘ungrateful.’ Whenever he goes on a tour in the U.S, the very first place he visits is the local Korean War memorial, paying his respect to those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and democracy of a nation that is now one of the global powers leading in technology and economic prowess.
