Yongsan Garrison to Be Transformed to Peoples’ Park

The U.S. Army’s Yongsan Garrison area will be transformed to a peoples’ historical park with commercial, business, residential and cultural facilities to be established.

Although the National government and Seoul city government have different views on transformation of Yongsan Park, both submitted legislation that permits the transformation with the purpose of benefiting local residents.
